The School of Forest Engineering seeks the integrated development of the country, educating professionals and directing research and extension projects in forestry. It pursues technological and scientific leadership, academic excellence and respect for ethical, humanist and environmental principles from the perspective of a State University enhancing quality and national and international competitiveness.
In this context, the School of Forest Engineering takes a main role in the search for a well-balanced relationship between society and natural resources, looking for a better quality of life and the continued existence of natural resources in Costa Rica.
