The School of Architecture and Urbanism offers a historical, social and epistemological perspective based on the relationship that exists between architecture and urbanism. Its purpose is to know and understand urban and rural territorial socioeconomic situations, causes and modernization.
It promotes the development of the integral education of the individual and the group taking into account ethical, moral, and cultural values. Moreover, solidarity, discipline, empathy and love for the study, equity and truth are also fostered.
There are also developed integral programs that include organization, structure, functioning and integration aspects to incorporate topics which illustrate the current condition of architecture, urbanism, ideology, science, environmental demands, morphological and typological features. Its aim is to visualize the relationship among production, cultural environment and urban development.
